Position Summary:

Incumbents are responsible for providing the necessary technical assistance to customer inquiries relating to the proper selection of electronic test and measurement equipment and financial programs to best meet their needs. Incumbents are also responsible for all quote-to-close initiatives in the assigned territory, meeting company expectations for profitability and response times.


Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Excel
• Strong quoting and closing skills
• General knowledge of rental/lease practices and financial practices/principles
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well under pressure
• Highly motivated, self-starter who works well with minimal supervision
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize duties and organize to achieve maximum efficiency



Experience/Education Required/Desired:

• BS degree preferred or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of inside or outside sales experience required
• Technical work experience in electronic test equipment preferred, or other related electronics or telecommunications
• Bilingual a must; preferably with Spanish dialect




Duties

o Meet or exceed New Business, Margin on Sale and Transaction Volume goals on a monthly basis
o Provide information and feedback on competition and potential new markets
o Provide technical assistance to customer inquiries relating to the proper selection of equipment, rental programs and financial programs
o Prepare quotes and negotiate pricing in compliance with established policies and procedures and complete timely follow up with customers
o Maintain an accurate sales pipeline utilizing the company’s proprietary software and other databases
o Participate in sales and product training programs
o Develop and maintain client relationships, both internal and external
o Solicit sales of products or services by telephoning prospective customers
o Educate and advise clients on test equipment rental products and services, generating quotes, closing business and following up on pending business
o Coordinate with Credit and Collection Departments to ensure completion of transactions, invoicing, and resolution of delinquent accounts
o Track and report lost business



Special Requirements
- Supports the Eastern Region and start time may be as early as 7:30 AM CST.
The pre-employment screening process includes social security verification, education verification, criminal background check and drug test. A motor vehicle record will be processed if the position requires that you drive for the company.
